Baba GanoushTahini* Recipe Made Simple - makes 210g (7.5oz) Ingredients: 1 cup roasted Sesame seeds 4 Tbsp. Olive oil 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice 2 Garlic cloves Method: Combine all the ingredients. Grind to a smooth consistency, add 2 Tbsp. warm water if needed. Use 2 Tbsp. for Baba Ganoush recipe and save the remaining Tahini in an airtight container for future use.
Angel Hair Pasta with ShrimpTo reduce the sodium content further, use fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined. Wash thoroughly with water until the shrimp smell has been removed. Add to the tomato sauce and cook for 10 minutes, or until cooked and tails have curled.
Guvar Aloo SalanThis recipe may be a good side dish. To reduce the sodium content further, skip the optional salt or use a lesser amount.
Salmon with Mango Salsa and Sweet PotatoesInstead of cooking in a pan, this fish may be cooked on a grill as well. Place the fish on 300F grill for about 3-4 minutes, then turn the fish and cook for additional 3-4 minutes
