Dr. Samuel Denmeade, MD is originally from Youngstown, Ohio. He received his undergraduate and medical degree from Columbia University in New York City. He did his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Chicago. He completed a medical oncology fellowship and a research fellowship at Johns Hopkins. In 1998 he joined the faculty of Oncology.  He is Professor of Oncology, Urology and Pharmacology and serves as the Director of the Prostate Cancer Program at Johns Hopkins He does both laboratory and clinical research all focused on developing and testing new therapies for prostate cancer.
