Soak basil seeds in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes.
In a blender, add milk, ice cream, rose essence, rose water and red food color; whip well. Add crushed ice and whip again.
Pour into a jug or bowl; add basil seeds and mix well.
Pour into four individual glasses, garnish with mint leaves and serve immediately.
