Vaccines for 18 Years & Younger

Vaccination is Safe & Essential

Routine vaccines are essential to protect children, adolescents, and adults (including pregnant women) from acquiring diseases that could potentially cause serious illness. It is important to follow the recommended vaccination schedules to ensure effectiveness of the vaccine. For children, schools may require up-to-date vaccinations prior to enrollment so make sure you have a copy of their vaccine records. The cost of routine vaccinations are covered by most insurance companies, Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare. Free or low-cost vaccines may also be available at federally-funded health centers and by your state health department.
