1. Low fat greek yogurt and low fat or evaporated milk can be used to substitute the heavy cream.
2. Chickpea, red lentil, or rice pasta can be used to make the recipe gluten-free.
In a non-stick pan, over medium-high heat, sauté chopped onions; add ground turkey and cook for 5 minutes. Add chopped garlic and taco seasoning. Cook until the mixture is dry.
To assemble the tacos: add 2 tablespoons of turkey meat, 1 tablespoon of salsa, 1⁄2 tablespoon sour cream, 1⁄4 tablespoon of shredded cheese, and 1 tablespoon of lettuce. Repeat to make 8 Tacos.
