Eligibility
COVID-19 Vaccine eligibility is now open for everyone 16 years of age and older
Phase 1A
- Health care workers caring for and working directly with patients with COVID-19
- Staff and residents of long term care facilities
Phase 1B
- Group 1: People 75 years of age and older
- Group 2: Health care workers and frontline essential workers 50 years or older
- Group 3: Health care workers and frontline essential workers of any age
Phase 2
- Group 1 People 65-74 years old
- Group 2: People 16 years of age and older with at least one chronic medical condition that puts them at increased risk for severe illness from the virus that causes COVID-19, such as but not limited to:
- Cancer
- Chronic kidney disease
- COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)/Pulmonary fibrosis/cystic fibrosis/moderate-severe asthma
- Heart conditions, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathies or hypertension
- Immunocompromised
- HIV, taking chronic steroids and immunomodulators, history of solid organ, blood or bone marrow transplantation
- Obesity and severe obesity (body mass index of 30 kg/m2 or higher)
- Liver Disease
- Sickle cell disease/thalassemia
- Type 2 diabetes mellitus
- Dementia
- Cerebrovascular disease/stroke
- Group 3: Anyone who is incarcerated or living in other close group living settings
- Group 4: Essential workers not yet vaccinated.
