Eligibility

Phase 1A

  • Health care workers
  • Long-term facility residents

Phase 1B

  • People 65 years of age and older
  • People 16 years of age and older with at least one chronic medical condition that puts them at increased risk for severe illness from the virus that causes COVID-19, such as but not limited to:
    • Cancer
    • Chronic kidney disease
    • COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
    • Heart conditions, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease or cardiomyopathies
    • Solid organ transplantation
    • Obesity and severe obesity (body mass index of 30 kg/m2 or higher)
    • Pregnancy
    • Sickle cell disease
    • Type 2 diabetes mellitus

Federal Directive: School and Child Care Personnel

  • Those who work in pre-primary, primary, and secondary schools
  • Head Start and Early Head Start programs (including teachers, staff, and bus drivers
  • Those who work as or for licensed child care providers, including center-based and family care providers

State Vaccination Plan

The following sites provide more information about the Texas state plan for the COVID-19 vaccine rollout:

On January 11, 2021 the State of Texas Designated ‘Vaccine Hubs’ that will receive large quantities of vaccine, they are identified below by their name in BLUE. These sites will vaccinate all residents, no matter what county you live in.

UPDATE: On January 23, 2021, additional ‘Vaccine Hubs’ were announced.

    • Registration opens every Friday morning at 10:00 AM for the following week.

    3. Complete a screening questionnaire to schedule your appointment
