CHOLESTEROL

Cholesterol is primarily found in our diets, in milk, butter, meat, cheese, nuts, eggs etc. Consuming these in moderate amounts is beneficial for the body.  The South Asian diet contributes to high cholesterol, increasing the risk of developing life-threatening complications.

COMPLICATIONS

Eating too much cholesterol can cause a build up of fat in our arteries and around our organs.  This can lead to serious events such as heart attack and stroke.
